Can I get a woop woop?!

Here's me, one week out:
I haven't worn this shirt in months! It's still tight; if you're me you can't help notice the way it clings at the hip. But who cares?! I think I'm pretty anyway.
I'm really excited about week two for two reasons:
1. Snacks!
Nutrisystem works very hard to give you 70 calories snacks that aren't just veggies. When you average six servings of veggies a day for a week straight, you start getting a metal taste in your mouth that just won't go away! I'm excited about chocolate covered pretzels, popcorn, and all the other goodies NS has in store for me!
2. I can go to the gym!!!
(Photo may be subject to copyright)After the first week I should net 1200-1500 calories a day and am allotted 1600-1700 in food from NS (if I ate all suggested snacks and veggies). That means I need to burn 300 or so calories a day, or just watch my eating. There are obviously a lot more great reasons to work out though outside of staying at my target calorie benchmark, so I'm committing to going at least three times a week. I'm excited!
I've also found a lot of success with the Pact app. If you haven't heard of it, Pact is a wonderful way to put your money where your mouth is, literally. You choose from veggies, food logging, or excercise logging categories and decide what you think you can commit to. Next you give Pact permission to take a dollar amount you choose out of your account for every committed unit (veggie, workout, days logging food) you missed. Here's my progress so far on the two Pacts I made:
I made my veggie goal early and am close to doing the same with my food logging! Knowing $10 is on the line will get you pulling up my fitness pal (I love that it ports that right in from mfp to pact) every time!
So there you have it, Guys and Dolls. NS has some work to do on their lunch selection (very reminiscint of ramen in a cup) but their shakes are amazing, the dinners have all been tasty (but small...I definitely see their entree as a side and my veggies as the main event), and the program WORKS!
I have more than doubled the weightloss they promised and even ate at a restaurant for one meal.
Let's see where week two takes me!
